Air Freight
We have been relocating our clients from every corner of the world to Africa and from Africa to every corner of the world for over 30 years.
We are experts in the international movement of household goods and personal effects, diplomatic shipments, AID, and vehicles by air, sea and land to, from and within Africa. Several offices also have qualified staff who handle the relocation of pets.
Our clients include many diplomatic organisations and embassies, international relocation agents, charitable organisations, NGO’s, corporations including banks, mining, oil and gas companies, and private individuals.
THE RELOCATION PROCESS
There are many reasons for moving and each move is unique.
International relocations usually start with a survey and assessment in order to provide a quote or estimate for your move. Dates are then set for our professional packing team to pack your belongings.
If your shipment is small or urgent you may wish to have your goods sent to your new destination by air. Many clients send goods by air that they will need quickly, for example their children's school books.
Your household goods will be carefully packed into boxes and may be put on pallets, wrapped or loaded into a lift van (a large wooden crate suitable for air shipments).
Our team will have booked the space on the flight and the items will be transported to the airport.
Our operations manager will give you an estimated time of arrival in your new country home.
Your shipments will be tracked as it travels and your destination agent will keep you up to date.
You will need to ensure all the paperwork is in order to import your household goods into your new country. Our team will advise.
Once your goods arrive they will be offloaded and go through the processes of port and customs clearance.
The goods will then be released and can be taken to storage or delivered to your new address.
Our teams will carefully check your belongings against the original packing list and reposition and unpack them.
Debris can be removed on the day of unpacking and the team leader will ask you to sign to say your goods are received.
