Southern Sudan has Juba as its capital. Under the terms of the deal with the Republic of Sudan, the new country has entire autonomy having won a resounding victory at the independence referendum. There still remains some unrest in the north of the country where delineation lines governing oil rich region have not been solved as well as some tribal clashes in the east. The new country at least brings to an end Africa’s longest running civil war. Juba is buzzing with activity to generate the infrastructure of a new country and all the large world nations are creating embassies or consulates to take their place in the local diplomatic society. In addition, South Sudan have produced their own currency, passports and taken their place at the United nations.
